OutbackNav gives planning estimates only. Always carry paper maps, check road conditions with the relevant state authority before travel, and verify towing weights on a weighbridge. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, CARTO, Esri, OpenTopoMap. Fuel prices © Government of Western Australia (FuelWatch).

OutbackNav is a trip-planning aid. It is not a navigation system, and it does not replace road signs, road closures, traffic directions, or the advice of emergency services and the relevant state road authority (for example Main Roads WA or the equivalent in your state). Always check current road and track conditions before you travel. Carry paper maps, water, fuel and emergency equipment, and tell someone your route.
Fuel range, fuel cost, drive time, sunset and dusk times, caravan and towing checks, and route avoidance checks are estimates. Map data (including OpenStreetMap) can be incomplete or out of date. Fuel prices come from the FuelWatch WA feed and may lag behind the pump. Always verify plated weights, towing limits and fuel availability yourself.
Compliance results use the plated ratings you enter. They are not engineering or roadworthiness advice. Confirm your figures against your vehicle and van compliance plates and manufacturer specifications, and weigh loaded rigs at a public weighbridge where practical.
Hazard reports are added by users and are not verified by OutbackNav. Do not rely on them alone. In an emergency, call 000 (or 112 from a mobile). Do not use the app while driving.

Check your internet connection and reload the page. Offline map packs (PRO) only work after you download them while you have signal.
Add the town or state, for example "140 William St, Perth WA". Or tap 📍 Pick on Map and tap the spot on the map.
Live WA fuel prices are PRO and need an internet connection. Make sure PRO is unlocked (feature menu, Account & Help).
Paste the code exactly as given, with no spaces. Codes are not case sensitive. If it still fails, check you have internet access and try again.
Enter the weights from your caravan and tow vehicle compliance plates, not estimates. The check uses those plated values.
Reports are shared only when the online service is running and you have internet. Allow location access so the report uses your position.
Close the tab and reopen it. If that fails, reload with Ctrl+Shift+R (or hold reload on a phone).
